Xtender gathers information from members and visitors in four ways: voluntary registration, member submissions (Discussion Group postings), cookie technology and IP addresses.
When you register as a member of Xtender, we collect information that helps us identify you. This information is necessary for us to process your order and to notify you about important changes to the Web Site, new Xtender features etc.

- Reviews and Message Boards
Personal information becomes public when you disclose it to the Xtender web site, including its partner's pages. This may include, but is not limited to: when you submit reviews on products or services, when you post messages to the Message Boards, and when you participate in contests and member surveys.
- IP Address
We may log IP addresses for the purposes of systems administration (e.g., how many visitors logged in to our Web Site) in a form that is not personally identifiable. An IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer automatically when you use the Internet. When you visit a particular Web page in the Xtender Web site, our servers log your IP address.
- Contractual Obligations with Subscribers
The data we hold from you allows us to fullfil our contractual obligation under our subscription agreement, or trial of a potential subscriptuion agreement. Without this information, we would not be able to match subscription profiles, etc.
- Customized Look and Feel
Xtender gathers member information to provide you with an effortless member experience. For instance, your personal information enables us to greet you when you return to our site and to provide you with specific information (such as the documents in your preferred industry categories), as well as services we think will be of interest to you and presentation of most of the site in your chosen language. We review our members' preferences, demographics, traffic patterns, and other information - as a whole - so that we can better understand who our audience is and what it wants.

We do not share subscriber information with any third parties. In general, we will not disclose your personal information
to third parties, except to the extent necessary to provide you with a requested
service, or under circumstances required by law. We will disclose your personal
information when we believe in good faith that any applicable law, regulation, or
legal process requires it, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect
or enforce our rights or the rights of another member. We also disclose aggregated
member statistics in order to describe our services and audience to prospective
partners, advertisers, and other third parties. However aggregate data is not traceable
to you specifically.
Most browsers can be configured to reject cookies or alert you when cookies are
being sent. You may cancel your registration to Xtender and/or request the removal
of your personal information from our member records, please let us know via our Contact page.
We will send an email to confirm your request. After
you respond, we will remove your information from our database. Residual information
may remain in our archives and records, but this information will not be used for
a commercial purpose (however we may notify you of major changes to our service
from time to time). We reserve the right to maintain information on registered members
who have violated our Terms & Conditions or who have had their
access to Xtender services blocked in order to detect repeat offenders.
You have certain rights by law, these may include:

To your personal information. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Of personal information that we hold about you.

This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you.

Data Portability - this enables you to take your data from us in an electronically useable format and to be able to transfer your data to another party in an electronically useable format.
You should be aware that if you voluntarily disclose personal information on-line in a public area, that information might be collected and used by others. We do not control the actions of our visitors and registered members. If you disclose personal information in a Message Board posting, or any other publicly accessible place on the Xtender site, you do so at your own risk and you understand that your information may be collected and used by others to send you unsolicited messages, advertisements, or for other purposes. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of any password you use to register, and you should always be careful and responsible whenever disclosing information online.
